RAF Final Fours at Cranwell
Did anyone go to the Final Fours at RAF Cranwell at the weekend? Any good?

Very good, Saturdays final between Towers and East London was off the hizzay.
Towers hit a buzzer beater 3 pointer to take it to overtime and in the end lost by about 2.
Two names to look out for, Caylin Raftopoulos from Towers and Josh Johnson from E.London

Spare a thought for Sevenoaks Suns Under 16s men’s team. Missing a runners up qualifying spot by one point is bad enough, but then discovering that the eventual runners up, NW JAZ Middlesex University had their final two games conceded to them just rubs salt into the wound. Granted Sevenoaks had one of their last games conceded but that still leaves the deciding game for the runners up spot non-contested. I am not saying for one minute that NW JAZ Middlesex University team would not have earnt their final position if they had the opportunity to play out their last games, in fact they beat the Sevenoaks team on the two meeting they had, all I am saying is that teams should be compelled to play fixtures that have a bearing on qualifying spots at the end of the season. Moreover I understand that no team can concede more that 20% of their total fixtures in a season, however there is no limit on the number of fixtures a team can have conceded in their favour. Jazz had a total of 4 games conceded in their favour (12 points) surely this should be looked at in the future.
Both teams worked hard all season to get to a position to challenge for qualification to the playoffs to then have it decided by conceded games makes a mockery of the whole season.
----------------------------------------------------------
Not sure what this has to do with the topic.
It is not NW Jaz fault that teams do not fullfill their fixtures. Teams that do this season after season should be refused entry to NL. Sevenoaks lost to Jaz twice so I dont think they have much to complain about.
----------------------------------------------------------
Not complaining about Jazz just commenting on a situation that could affect any team in any league which needs to be addressed by the powers that be.
